Here is a little summary of the things our club did toward the end of last semseter.
April 14- Mississippi State Food Festival The club participated with a sweets stand. We sold Blueberry Muffins,Chocolate Cupcakes, Banana Nut Muffins, Cinnamon Rolls, Peanut Butter Cookies,Chocolate Chip Cookies, and Sugar Cookies. We did great in sales! Event time10-2
April 18, the club donated cupcakes, cookies, andmuffins to the Palmer Home for children.
April 21- Homecoming Alumni Sweet Treats The club set up an array of sweets (Lemon Tarts, Apple Tarts, Varietyof Cookies, Tea, Coffee, Mini Cheesecakes). We served, greeted, and tookpictures with alums. Gave tours, and handed out several packets of information.Event time 1-4
April 24- New Tshirts came in. They are still on sale for everyone $15
April 27- 2nd Annual Meet~N~Greet A lot went on! There were two raffles: Ipod- Laura won and a $25 Walmart gift card- Courtney won. The club gave away awards ofappreciation to honor the four faculty members and Ms. Cheryl. We also gaveaway an outstanding member award for participation to Ebony Knight. We servedhot dogs, hamburgers, potato salad, baked beans, rotel, icecream sandwiches,and an assortment of drinks. We played several games including a pie throw atthe officers, floursaver, egg toss, Who Am I?, Guess the #, Culinary Charades.
May 2- End of the Year Dinner Tonight the club took out the officers and members that wanted toshare with us to a feast at Rueben's Restaurant. It was fun.
